Senior Associate Joins Cole Khan Solicitors

Today we welcome Colin Davidson to Cole Khan Solicitors

It’s with excitement that Cole Khan Solicitors adds a Senior Associate Solicitor to the team.

Colin’s a specialist discrimination and employment lawyer, dual-qualified to practice in Scotland, England and Wales.

Prior to working at Cole Khan, Colin was Head of Employment Law at a firm holding a long tradition of community involvement. This followed many years working at a leading national firm in the City. In these positions, he has advised clients on the full spectrum of employment matters and has litigated claims to appeal level in the courts and tribunals.

Colin has a particular interest in equality work. He has a considerable success record fighting disability discrimination and securing adjustments in the workplace. This is a complex area of law, often involving deeply personal issues. His client-centric and compassionate approach ensures the needs of his clients dictates the resolution strategy.

This approach may involve alternatives to litigation, through which he has secured high-value confidential settlements, often resulting in further non-financial resolutions - ones that cannot be offered by the courts or tribunals. He has also been instructed in numerous Judge-led mediations.

Colin sits on the board of a national anti-discrimination charity, of which he was previously Chair. In this capacity he has given specialist evidence to a Parliamentary committee and regularly writes for its legal publication, amongst others.
