Webinar Part 1 - Unveiling Coded Language

We are delighted to announce our upcoming webinar on 27 February 2024.  Join us as we partner with Bounce Black to uncover the covert world of coded language in the workplace.

Like most forms of discrimination, coded language occurs covertly, portraying harmful, untrue stereotypes with often devastating consequences, not only to peoples’ careers, but also on their confidence. The use of coded language often goes undetected and without consequence for all but those on the receiving end.

Coded language is often used to target people of colour and other marginalised groups negatively and uphold systemic oppression.

It is important that coded language does not go unchecked in the workplace. Holding those accountable for using such language will lead to a just and fairer workplace.

Join us for an empowering discussion where we will explore the use of coded language in the workplace and its devastating effects, as well as the various types of actions individuals can take to protect themselves.
