Biography

Milla combines a strong academic record with a genuine interest in employment law and a commitment to supporting individuals facing injustice in the workplace. Having previously worked with Cole Khan on two occasions as a summer legal intern, she has already gained hands-on experience supporting clients across a range of employment matters.

During her time with Cole Khan, Milla’s work has ranged from Employment Tribunal trial preparation to settlement agreement negotiations involving senior employees. She also supported the team in Mr Simon Pipe v Coventry University Higher Education Corporation, a complex disability discrimination case concerning ADHD, neurodiversity and barriers to progression in the workplace. Milla has a particular interest in contentious employment work and unfair dismissal claims.

Milla graduated from the London School of Economics with First Class Honours in Geography, having achieved the highest result in her class for her undergraduate dissertation. Throughout her studies, she actively pursued opportunities to develop her understanding of employment law and the issues facing individuals in the workplace.

Alongside her academic and legal experience, Milla helped found the LSE Balkan Society, the first of its kind at a UK university, where she supported fellow students applying for highly competitive careers in law and finance. She brings the same supportive and personable approach to her work at Cole Khan.

Following her undergraduate degree, Milla continued her legal studies at BPP University and has recently completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL).
